This is one of Linda's newest mysteries! The quilt is quite stunning, easy to piece and is template free! There are several sizes to select from, so no matter what you choose it's going to be a winner!

Join Donna as she takes the guess work out of landscape quilting with her easy construction methods and simple design options. Learn construction techniques, effective fabric selection, and how to quilt the landscape. You will be making the Mini- Artscape shown here in class, but you will be able to take the techniques you learn and apply them to any size landscape you choose! All skill levels welcome, but basic sewing knowledge is recommended for the quilting aspect of the workshop.
This half day "technique only" workshop is jam-packed with embellishment ideas that can add that extra special touch to any art quilt. From landscapes to abstract designs, embellishments are a great way to add demension and interest. The sample you see is just an example of some of the techniques that can be used on an art quilt - that is not what you will make in class. Techniques learned will include; machine trapunto, reverse bobbin stitching, angelina fibers, and much more!
Skill level recommended from confident beginner to advanced.
