SUNDAY JULY 4th
Stars & Bars Tablerunner 9-1pm $30.00 Teacher: Bette Rhodaback Join us for a patriotic class on the 4th of July! What a beautiful table runner to make for your table during the summer months. The Stars, bars and flying geese make a pleasing combination of blocks. You can really make it any size you want by figuring how many stars to use. Choose red, blue and white or go scrappy for the red and blue. The teacher will assist you with the size and/or combinations of fabrics you have. You'll like the results so much you'll want to make the same thing into a quilt or more table runners. Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
MONDAY - JULY 5th Beginning Machine Quilting 9-4pm $50.00 + $8.00 Kit fee
Teacher: Jill Monley Jill will show you how easy it can be to quilt your quilts on your own home sewing machine. In just a short time you will be quilting like a pro.

Teacher: Norma Wells-Huppert Join us to make this fun wall hanging and learn beginning Raw-Edge Machine Appliqué (using 1-sided Fusible). Completing this piece will not take long, and it is a wonderful decorator piece for your home or a gift for someone special. You need NO prior experience in machine appliqué; however, if you’d like a short refresher course, this is also the right class for you. Skill Level: Beginner-Advanced
TUESDAY JULY 6th Prickly Pineapple
9-4pm $50.00 (Paper piecing) 4 SPOTS LEFT, SIGN UP NOW! Teacher: Norma Wells-Huppert Have great fun and learn how to make a wonderful Ann Petersen Paper-Pieced spiky pineapple quilt in colors that POP (your choice, certainly). This is a beginning class, but will be challenging enough for others who need a refresher course. The book and special pattern package, released only to us from the designer for this class, is only available at BJ’s. Please purchase the package early so you can do your homework - which will help you get lots done in class!
Summer Mystery! - Class full 5-9pm $30.00
Teacher: Linda Ballard If you love Linda's mysteries - then you are in luck! We have her for two this year!! Come and be part of Linda's evening Summer Mystery! You'll receive clues as you go, along with hints for fabrics ahead of time. This is a great quilt, goes together quickly and lots of fun to do. You'll just love how this turns out!! Two different blocks placed side by side with some fun things happening in the border to continue out the ‘crinkle cut look’; this is the blueprint to this fun quilt. Looks hard? A bit, but once you see how easy it is with the techniques Linda shares, you’ll be amazed. So find 3 fabrics you like together, select the size quilt you wish to make and then wait for the class to begin. You’ll love it… the way it’s pieced together and the tricks Linda has to share. Are you ready to learn a new technique? This is an easy project that makes you look like a pro! You will use factory printed fabrics; preferably novelty prints, floral and leaf prints, and background fabrics, to produce a one-of-a-kind design. You choose the theme and bring several fabrics following that theme. You will mix and match these fabrics to make a unique small quilt or a block for a larger quilt. You will learn preparation, cutting, placement, and sewing techniques in a relaxed and fun setting. Skill Level: Comfortable Beginner

Night
Teacher: Bette Rhodaback

What a fun quilt to make from the Day and Night Quilt book by Eleanor Burns, Quilt in a Day. If you can sew strips together and use a rotary cutter with a ruler, you can make this beautiful and amazing quilt. You will be amazed at how easy the blocks go together, but look so complicated! This class will also teach you how to make two bonus projects from the scraps left over. You will love the end products. Batiks work best for this quilt.
