Being an avid sewer all her life, Linda has taken her skills from dressmaking to creating wonderful traditional quilts using today’s faster techniques and tools. She believes there’s always something for everyone when it comes to quilting, and that quilters have a strong bond unlike anything else. She lives in northern CA outside Redding in a country community called Palo Cedro, where she raised her 2 children and still resides with husband Dave. Linda was a quilt shop owner in Redding and now travels throughout the country teaching both on land and sea. She has a fondness for quilt shops, but loves to teach at Quilt Festival, conferences, cruises, quilt guilds and camps. She says ‘anyplace and anytime, she’s ready’!
DONNA CHERRY- Bend, OR Donna Cherry is a self taught artist and has been exploring her creativity through many different medium since she was about 6 years old. Since starting quilting 5 years ago she has found a new passion “Painting Life with Fabric”. She has won many awards for her outstanding art quilts and has found great enjoyment and inspiration teaching others to explore their own creativity. Her original designed workshops help individuals take the next step on their journey to self expression.
Sandra began quilting when she moved to Alaska in 1990. She says she preferred quilting to hunting and fishing. Her first quilt was a Lone Star, which took her two years to complete and was named “Blood, Sweat & Tears!” She lives in LaPine, Oregon, and quilts away the long, snowy winters. “I love to make bags, totes, pin cushions and, of course, quilts. Quilts are stacked 10 high on the guest room bed and stashed all over the house and in our RV. I made 5 quilts for Project Linus last year and have at least 15 quilts in progress. I guess I have Quiltpox!” Sandra has been teaching classes in various Oregon quilt shops for the past 10 years.
Jill Monley loves fabric and using it to make…..things…..! While her undergraduate degree emphasized Clothing and Textiles, her 34 year career was in local government. Upon retirement, she discovered quilting and has become a self proclaimed ‘addict”. Jill started out quilting with the intent of completing all the steps of the quilt making process….so….when her first quilt-top was finished in 2004, she had to figure out a way to machine quilt it. Since then, she has taken classes from many well known ‘tabletop’ machine quilters, and developed her own style and approach. Jill teaches machine quilting classes at BJ's in Bend, OR, and works to instill enthusiasm in students in the fun and creativity possible through free motion quilting. She believes strongly that the way to get better at machine quilting….is to machine quilt. To that end, she likes to teach free motion classes to beginners so that students can feel successful in quilting their own quilt!

BEVALEE RUNNER - SUNRIVER, OR
Bevalee Runner has been quilting for 30 years and has taught
classes nearly all that time both locally and internationally.
Her work and teaching expertise range all the way from
beginning piecing and quilting to modern embellished art quilts.

new techniques as she can, while still embracing the traditions
of her quilting foremothers.
Bevalee has been exploring the use of printed fabrics in a very
creative way for the past several years. She looks forward to
sharing what she has learned to help each student make their own
unique piece using fabrics right off the shelf. Visit Bevalee's

www.br-fiberarts.com to view her work and read about her
quilting journey through time and around the world.
