Teacher:
Linda Ballard This is a good one—Linda has made two of them! The 12” blocks are set with sashing, cornerstones and borders. It’s a quick quilt with some new and some not so new quick piecing techniques. This quilt is easy to “scrap”, with each block being its own fabric, and a more consistent background fabric. The classic design will look great with whatever you choose $5
Kit Fee Teacher:
Jean Brown Begin by discussing a variety of ways to construct quilts, mark quilting designs, and batting to making hand quilting easier and an enjoyable endeavor. Jean’s technique has been taught all over the country, after she accidentally found an easier, more comfortable way to hand quilt. Speed is great, but the overall look is very important. You’ll not only learn how to quilt, but how to quilt differently!
Teacher:
Carol Doak What a way to finish the week of paper piecing techniques—a Mariner’s Compass. Paper piecing methods make this 28” wall quilt easy to create. Learn tips and tricks while piecing the units, then joining sections into the block, making perfect points every time. Even if you’re new to patchwork, your points will be perfect. Complete the compass with an on-point setting and border. Fun

F06 What’s This Going to Be? 3-D Embellishment This action packed class will bring life to all those quilt tops—you know, the ones lingering on the top shelf of your closet, the ones in need of “something” but have no clue, and everyone is asking “What’s this going to be”? Learn to make dimensional flowers, stems and leaves, then attach them to the quilt top as surface embellishment. The scale you decide on will depend on the size of the top. Let Pam show you how easy this is to do. Bring flower “colors”, leaf scraps, buttons and beads. Time to be creative! Easy
and fun for all Click on the picture to see more detail
