April 14th & 28th 6pm - 9pm Fee $40.00 plus pattern Turn an ordinary sweatshirt into a medium or heavy weight jacket by sewing raw edge patches on your sweatshirt. We will also cover how to turn it into a cardigan or have a zippered closure.
Just Can't Cut It Instructor: Debbie Williams

Just a few hours will be enough to piece this fun and easy quilt. A great pattern for beginning quilters & a great follow up to your beginning class! This is an extremely quick and versatile pattern that is perfect for your novelty scene fabrics, juvenile or contemporary prints in cotton or flannel.

You need NOT have prior experience in paper-piecing. You will start by making samples using scraps before we begin on your pieces.
Crazy Patch Quilting Instructor: Suzette Shoulders
May 6, 13, 20 & 27th 6:30-9pm $48.00 Come learn the Victorian art of crazy-patch construction and embellishment while making your one-of-a-kind quilt or vest in colors and fabrics of your choice. You can work in cottons or "fancy" fabrics and embellish your piece with stitches and beads to your heart's content. Cautious beginners may choose to make a pillow. Suzette brings a sharing basket of satins and silky fabrics to augment your stash. You will learn the basics of silk ribbon embroidery, broidery perse, and beaded embroidery in this class too!

Learn the basics & beyond of working with a great quilt design program. Kathy will cover things such as; different lay-outs, fabric yardages, foundations, paper piecing, etc.
Dresden Plate
Instructor: Suzette Shoulders
May 17th 10-4pm $40.00
Join Suzette for your own updated version of this classic quilt. She made it in florals, and has made a second version in all Asian prints. It looks great in "Aunt Gracie" reproductions too! Students will learn hand piecing and freezer paper appliqué techniques, as well as how to center and baste the 'plates' on the blocks. Come spend a restful day learning this traditional quilt pattern.
Beginning Machine Quilting
Instructor: Jill Monley
June 8th & 22nd 12:30-3:30pm $40.00 plus $10 kit fee
Learn to use your tabletop sewing machine to quilt your own quilts! The class will focus on free-motion stitching techniques and designing your quilting plan. The $10 kit fee covers printed materials & practice quilt sandwiches.
Beginning Paper Piecing Instructor: Kathy Shaker May 24 10-4pm $40.00 plus book & small kit fee Learn how to make perfectly pieced pointed stars and put them together in a quilt. Class based on Carol Doak's books.
Wavy Table Runner Instructor: Vicki Jensen May 29 10-4pm $40.00 Learn a new and fun technique in this class with the wavy edge ruler! These slight curves are easier than you think!
Landscape Art Quilt Workshop Instructor: Donna Cherry
Starting June 24th & running every fourth Tuesday for five months $35.00 per class, or pay only $150.00 up front & save Step-by-step techniques to complete landscape quilt designed by Donna Cherry. She expounds on where to start and how to embellish and create depth and details so you are able to apply them to your own designs.

Please come join us for great food, fun, door prizes, and quilting, of course! Bring your UFO’s & get them done. We will cater your dinner, we will be available for questions, and you can quilt ‘til you wilt!!! Sign up now to reserve your spot, as space is limited!
Important Class Info Pre-registration and payment is required prior to each class. Phone registration requires a credit card. No space will be held without full payment. Receive a 15% discount card towards supplies and materials. If you cancel a class, please do so at least three days prior to the class. You'll receive a gift certificate for class fees good for 90 days. No refunds will be given for less than 72 hour notification of cancellation.
For any class WE cancel, you may receive a refund or a gift certificate in amount to class fees. All classes will be held with 4 or more students. If a class lasts an entire day, we have allotted a 30-45 minute lunch; bring your own, order in, or go out. Potluck lunches have been well received! We have a fridge and microwave.
Please bring all supplies as required on the supply list. We will have Janome machines in the classroom to use during class if you need one, just let us know.
